Sarah Rafferty

Sarah fell in love with acting from a young age as she was at school for prep. Her drama teacher spotted her walking across his lawn in an effort not to be late for the field hockey game, he advised that she should not attend practice but join the cast of Richard III and thus began her adoration of acting. Sarah took her passion for acting further and decided to majoring in English and theater on the campus of Hamilton College. She studied abroad at Oxford as well as London during her junior year and was awarded the title of magnacum laude. Following Hamilton was over, she enrolled in Yale Drama School. She was encouraged to learn about the arts and sciences by her parents. The mother of her chairs the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT along with her father, who paints. Her training and ability have clearly paid off. She has also appeared on numerous TV shows including Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? Without A Trace CSI Miami Bones, and feature films such as Four Single Fathers, Falling For Grace. The actress has also appeared in several stage plays, such as Gemini and As You Like It. Sarah's work as an actor on TV is complemented by her role as an ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association. She speaks frequently on the subject. Sarah has hosted their annual Sardi's event three years consecutively and was the presenter at the organization's final Sardi's ceremony in March. Sarah currently lives on both east and west coasts with her partner and two daughters. She also regularly travels between the east and west coasts of Toronto for job.
