Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. The majority of her childhood listening to music from the past and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs and old classical pieces. Ana loves tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of dramatic performance. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she began more intensive vocal training through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. While a student, and as a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choirs. After 2000, she emigrated to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007 she moved to her home in southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions, performing classical Latin American Music. Ana is involved in a variety of local projects, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for music and arts. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to share with others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will encourage younger generations to preserve the traditions.
